Legal Project Manager Intermediate (3-6 years)

Robert Half is seeking an experienced Legal Project Manager to support a dynamic legal team by overseeing project delivery, managing priorities, and ensuring high‑quality work product across multiple initiatives. This role may have direct oversight of Legal Documentation Clerks and/or Legal Project Assistants and will collaborate closely with senior attorneys and leadership. Location:   Jersey City, NJ (On-site) Hours: M-F; EST business hours Pay: $40-45/hourKey ResponsibilitiesProvide quality control and oversight of work product prepared by direct reports; analyze, prioritize, and summarize information for presentation to management.Maintain an organized approach to ensure projects and deliverables are tracked, monitored, and completed in alignment with business, regulatory, compliance, and audit requirements.Partner closely with senior attorneys to strategize and lead initiatives related to process improvement and business enhancements.Support project planning and execution, including timeline management, resourcing, budgeting, and regular task follow‑ups.Prepare executive‑level presentations and documentation, including project kickoffs, status updates, project storyboards, and overall program materials (advanced PowerPoint skills required).Lead project meetings, issue‑resolution sessions, and stakeholder meetings as needed.Promote effective use of firm‑designated tools and processes, including SharePoint, and manage the team’s SharePoint site.Develop and report on metrics and data insights to support program management and decision‑making.Support the identification and development of new capabilities and process improvements.Identify, manage, and escalate first‑level issues with outside counsel as appropriate.Contribute to data visualization efforts using existing dashboards and reports.Required QualificationsStrong organizational, communication, and prioritization skills, with the ability to adapt to changing business needs.Experience managing multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in PowerPoint and intermediate to advanced Excel.Experience preparing executive‑level presentations and written summaries. Preferred QualificationsWorking knowledge of Tableau (user-level; not required to build dashboards).Familiarity with Business Objects reporting tools.Experience with project prioritization and program‑level reporting.Prior experience managing or mentoring support staff.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
