Simulation Lab Operations SpecialistInsight Global is seeking a Simulation Lab Operations Specialist to support the day-to-day operations of advanced simulation labs within an academic healthcare environment. This role is critical in ensuring seamless simulation delivery, equipment readiness, and compliance with accreditation standards across programs.What You’ll DoEnsure simulation labs are fully operational, with all equipment tested, calibrated, and ready prior to scheduled sessionsManage simulator programming, troubleshooting, and technical execution during simulation activitiesOversee equipment lifecycle management (preventive maintenance, repairs, asset tracking)Maintain inventory systems and clinical supplies, ensuring proper utilization and availabilityCoordinate simulation scheduling with academic programs to support standardized workflowsSupport accreditation compliance efforts (CCNE, AAMC, SSH) through documentation and data trackingEnforce safety protocols and promote risk mitigation within lab environmentsPartner with leadership to standardize simulation operations across campusesAssist with technology integration initiatives (capture systems, immersive platforms, enterprise tools)Track and maintain operational metrics and utilization dataProvide technical support to faculty during simulation sessionsContribute to enterprise-level simulation initiativesRequired QualificationsStrong experience supporting technical lab or simulation environmentsHands-on expertise with equipment troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenanceExperience managing scheduling, inventory, and operational workflowsUnderstanding of compliance standards and documentation requirementsAbility to support live technical environments and collaborate cross-functionallyNice to Have2–4 years of experience in a simulation-based learning environment (healthcare or academic settings preferred)Why Join?Work with cutting-edge simulation technologyImpact healthcare education and training outcomesBe part of a growing, enterprise-level simulation programCollaborative environment with opportunities for growthCompensation:$25/hr to $29/hr.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one ofemployment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance.
