Accounting ManagerWe are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager who brings strong technical accounting expertise, a hands‑on approach, and an energetic leadership style. This role is responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards and internal policies, and developing a high‑performing accounting team. The Accounting Manager will play a key role in the monthly close process, audits, cross‑functional collaboration, and continuous process improvement initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial resultsPrepare and review financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAPAnalyze financial variances and provide insights and reporting to leadershipSupport internal and external financial reporting requirementsLead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionalsFoster collaboration, open communication, and best‑practice sharing across the teamProvide regular coaching, feedback, and performance evaluationsSupport professional development through training and growth opportunitiesPromote accountability, continuous improvement, and employee engagementOversee core accounting functions, including:General ledger managementRevenue and expense accountingFixed assets and depreciationAccruals and prepaid expensesEnsure strong reconciliation practices and documentation standardsDesign, implement, and maintain effective internal controlsSupport internal and external audits and respond to audit requestsAssist with adoption and implementation of new accounting standardsEnsure compliance with tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements in coordination with tax partnersServe as a key user for accounting systems and ERP platformsIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and automationSupport system implementations, enhancements, and upgradesDrive improvements to close timelines and data qualityBuild strong working relationships across departmentsSupport budgeting and forecasting activities with financial insights and analysisProvide accounting guidance to internal stakeholdersQualificationsMinimum of 5+years of increasing responsibility within accounting or financial rolesBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation or progress toward certification strongly preferredSolid command of U.S. GAAP and accounting best practicesProven ability to lead, coach, and grow accounting professionalsDirect experience owning and executing month‑end close activitiesStrong working knowledge of ERP platforms such as NetSuite, Dynamics 365, SAP, or OracleAdvanced proficiency in Excel and financial data analysisSelf‑starter with a value‑driven mindset and a track record of contributing beyond defined responsibilities
