Inspection Associate - D Shift
Job Title Responsible for meeting/exceeding production standards, maintaining product quality, and minimizing/preventing equipment downtime. Must be able to work both independently and as a team member and actively communicate with others to include workplace teams. Will perform continuous inspection to identify and remove critical, major, and minor defects according to standard procedures. Ensures compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures and best practices, and all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies and procedures. Regular, punctual attendance is an essential job function. Willing and able to uphold BD values. Become a maker of possible with us.Rotating schedule / D Shift / 5:30PM-5:30AMJG1 / H06PCP2Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Manually/visually and under magnification inspect product and be able to identify and remove defects.Perform quality inspections and record accurate inspection data as required.Tend equipment and clear jams, load commodities, move materials, and remove trash.Verify process steps are completed correctly in appropriate batch records.Clean equipment, floors, and workstations.Sustain a productive work environment through effective communication with team members.Responsible to contribute to the continuous improvement of the process.Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.DeliverablesHigh quality products produced per manufacturing documents.Accurate documentation.Qualifications and requirementsMinimum education: H.S, diploma/GED- preferredMinimum experience: 2 years manufacturing experience required in lieu of HS diploma/GEDMinimum knowledge, skills, or abilities (KSA's):Computer skills- basic or simple KSAMeasurement devices- basic or simple KSAQuality records- basic or simple KSACommunication skills- basic or simple KSAInterpersonal skills- basic or simple KSADetail oriented- proficient/working KSAPhysical capacity profile: 2At BD, we prioritize on-site collaboration because we believe it fosters creativity, innovation, and effective problem-solving, which are essential in the fast-paced healthcare industry.
