CNC Programmer – Engineering SupportLocation: Indianapolis, IN 46219Duration: Temp to PermRate: $40/hr on W2Onsite Interview RequiredThis position involves creating and modifying CNC programs for various production equipment, performing set-ups and prove-outs on CNC mills, wire EDM machines, and lathes.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and modify CNC programs for production equipment.Set up and execute prove-outs on CNC mills, wire EDM machines, and lathes.Read, interpret GD&T and analyze engineering drawings and CAD files.Determine and calculate appropriate speeds and feed rates.Use CAD/CAM software to generate programs (e.g., MasterCam, Pro-E/Creo).Maintain accurate data repositories and document control.Follow quality systems and processes.QualificationsHigh school graduate or GED required; Bachelor's degree in STEM preferred.At least 6 years (or equivalent) in CNC programming, setup, operation, and troubleshooting of multi-axis machines.Experience with MasterCam and Pro-E/Creo or similar CAD/CAM.Strong knowledge of ferrous, non-ferrous, plastics, fiber, and rubber machining.Experience with quality systems, processes, and data repositories.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; SAP or similar ERP experience a plus.Desired SkillsKnowledge of MASTERCAM software.Two years working with quality systems.Seniority LevelMid-SeniorEmployment TypeContractJ-18808-Ljbffr
