Specializing in the servicing of the beach, beach access and tourist/resort stores, our reach includes Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee and the costal corridor running from South Carolina to New York.
DSC Sales has a history of success in servicing large chain store accounts and high-volume stores via DSD (direct store delivery). Over forty professional service representatives and supervisors, with trucks and vans, operate out of our 15 stocking warehouses.

Apparel Manager Job Description
Job Summary:
The Apparel Supervisor will oversee and lead the activities of the Apparel Associates and the Apparel Department.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Hire and train apparel associates.
Coach, mentor, and lead Apparel Associates.
Handles discipline and termination of employees in apparel department in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Apparel buying and maintaining fresh designs and styles each season.
Managing, tracking, and receiving apparel inventory using necessary software.
Managing apparel segments at several accounts.
Communication with our sales team.
Innovative and creative design of merchandise sections.
Review and analyze sales data to make projections, determine profitability, identify, and target potential new markets.
Presentations to clients regarding trends.
Producing creative assets.
Identify new market trends.
Communicate and build relationships with suppliers.
Collaborate with leadership to develop sales expectations and strategies.
Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Required Skills:
Experience as an apparel buyer/Importer.
Merchandising knowledge and skilled at training staff on merchandising.
Direct Store Deliver (DSD) experience is preferred.
Familiar with sizing, color, and design of garments.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite, and Canva.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, Fashion, or related field, OR
Comparable record of experience as a buyer/importer in fashion/apparel.
At least 5 years of experience in fashion/apparel.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership/management role.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Assist warehouse and apparel staff in non-climate-controlled warehouses with stocking and pulling apparel orders.
Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds at times.
