Job SummaryTo service, repair, and maintain the mechanical functionality of all construction equipment. Complete on-the-job and classroom training in the mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components of the product line and associated repair/service procedures to be successful as an equipment mechanic. Mechanic reports to Fleet Manager.Duties/ResponsibilitiesMaintain a repair log of all service work, parts needed, and duration of time on each repairUphold Strack's safety commitment as well as any safety requirements of the customersDetermine overall condition of machines through inspections and provide maintenanceDiagnose issues with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systemsRestore equipment to working order through component replacement and/or repairExhibit positive and effective communication and interaction with other Strack, Inc. team members.Utilize parts & maintenance manuals and specialty diagnosis equipment in determining procedures and identifying partsEssential Requirements:Align with our Company's core values of Better Everyday, Everyone Matters, Humble Hearts/Open Hands, and Mindful in Everything.Must be willing and able to travel out of town, and/or out of state, to work on job sites.Must have good work ethics: Be on time, Work hard, and Willing to learn.Must have reliable transportation.Must be able to pay a high degree of attention to safety and promote a safe work environment.RequirementsExcellent driving recordExperience and/or educational background related to mechanical, electronic, or hydraulic system.Overtime may be requiredAble to develop the computer skills necessary to complete support dutiesPhysical effort is required to move objects and service-related tools that may weigh up to 75 pounds; frequent stooping, bending, squatting, and kneeling are required to service and repair equipmentAbility to read, write, and communicate in EnglishBasic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and measuring devicesValid Driver's LicenseHigh School diploma or equivalentBenefitsCompetitive Salary – Paid WeeklyMedical Health Insurance Benefits after 30 daysVision & Dental InsuranceLife Insurance Programs401k after 6 months of service plus company matchCorporate Giving MatchVacation/Paid Time Off after 120-day probationary periodEqual Opportunity EmployerPowered by JazzHR
