HR Assistant (Internship)

Key Responsibilities: Work closely with HR Managers to support employee staffing and departmental needs Assist with onboarding processes, including coordinating new hire paperwork and tracking completion of required forms Request required documentation from employees and follow up to ensure timely submission Follow up on outstanding employee documents to maintain accurate and compliant personnel records Support recruitment efforts by coordinating interviews, communicating with candidates, and maintaining hiring records Maintain and organize employee personnel files (digital and physical) to ensure accuracy and compliance Assist with data entry and updates in HR systems such as Paychex Flex and internal tracking tools Provide general administrative support to the HR team during peak seasons and special projects Qualifications: Currently pursuing or recently completed coursework in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); HRIS experience is a plus Strong communication and timemanagement skills Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Schedule Parttime, flexible hours Temporary position to support increased workload during busy seasons Learning Opportunity This role offers hands-on exposure to HR operations, onboarding, compliance support, and recruitment activities in a growing organization.
