Maintenance Technician - Experienced

Job Description Come join West Michigan's premier pool and spa team! Zagers Pool & Spa is looking to add an experienced Maintenance Technician to our team. Industry experience is a plus but we are willing to train the right individual. This is a full-time, year round position M-F with an occasional "on call" rotation. We are looking for candidates with pool maintenance experience. Candidates should be highly motivated, mechanically inclined, enjoy working outside and willing to learn. Candidates will have a neat, clean appearance and will be able to communicate effectively with customers and service team. If you would like to join our growing team, please submit your resume.Responsibilities as Maintenance/Service Technician:Pool & Spa MaintenancePerform Water Tests & Balance ChemicalsVacuum and skim debris from pools/spaClean waterline, pumps and filtersRepair Pool and Spa equipment at the customer's homeOpen and Close Pools & SpasPunctual and dependable, arrive at job site at schedules time and location as dispatchedComplete service work orders accurately and timelyCommunicate with customer courteously and effectivelyWork as a member of the Service TeamWill be able to use app based communication for work ordersQualifications:Willingness to invest time in training seminars and classesWorking knowledge of tools and operation of power and hand tools safelyManual dexterity and problem-solving skillsGood physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtimeAbility to stoop, bend, kneel and lift at least 50lbsWillingness to develop customer service skillsMechanical aptitudeEffective verbal and written communication skillsWilling to work outside in all types of weatherValid driver's license with a clean driving recordNeat and clean appearanceHigh School or GED graduate
