This role is designed for undergraduate students seeking hands‑on experience in an industrial biopharmaceutical laboratory. ResponsibilitiesAssist with routine protein purification experiments under supervisionLearn and support chromatography techniques used in biologics manufacturing (e.g., affinity and ion exchange chromatography)Help perform filtration‑related experiments (e.g., depth filtration or membrane filtration)Conduct basic laboratory analyses such as SDS‑PAGE and assist with sample preparationPrepare buffers, solutions, and reagents following written protocolsAccurately record experimental observations and data in lab notebooksSupport general laboratory organization, equipment cleaning, and inventory managementFollow all safety, quality, and documentation proceduresCommunicate progress and questions to supervising scientistsQualificationsCurrently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in:BiologyBiochemistryChemical EngineeringBiomedical EngineeringBiotechnologyOr a related STEM fieldCompletion of basic laboratory courseworkPreferredPrior academic research, lab course, or co‑op experienceFamiliarity with basic biochemistry or molecular biology techniquesInterest in biopharmaceutical development or manufacturingOther QualificationsMust pass a background checkMust pass a drug screenMay be required to pass Occupational Health ScreeningPay Range: $25.30/hr.Education, experience, location and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.We do not accept unsolicited assistance from any headhunters or recruitment firms for any of our job openings.
