Director of Drayage Operations:Direct Traffic Solutions is seeking a Director of Drayage Operations to lead and scale our drayage division, driving operational excellence and delivering world-class service across our logistics network.Key Responsibilities:Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing, distributed operations teamOversee drayage operations, ensuring on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and high customer satisfactionDrive business development and revenue growth within the drayage segmentBuild and manage relationships with key clients, ports, carriers, and freight partnersLead pricing strategy, rate negotiations, and capacity planning to maximize marginsOversee drayage operations to ensure on-time delivery, service quality, and customer satisfactionIdentify new market opportunities and expand the company’s drayage footprintMonitor KPIs, pipeline performance, and profitability metricsCollaborate with sales and operations teams to align customer acquisition and execution What We’re Looking ForStrong background in drayage sales, carrier sales, or logistics business developmentProven track record in revenue generation and client relationship managementExperience negotiating rates and managing carrier networksOperational knowledge of ports, containers, and drayage logisticsStrategic mindset with ability to scale operations and sales simultaneouslyQualifications:5+ years of experience in drayage, logistics sales, or operations leadershipBachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred)Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-driven environmentCompensation & Benefits:Competitive base salary + commissionHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off (PTO)Supportive team environmentOnsite position in Franklin, Tennessee
