I, Jorge Jalapeno (Torres), started this company with my brothers back around 2010. It never got traction until I started fresh with my son Austin in 2019.Since then, we’ve been implementing the best strategies for building a successful contracting company, and most recently, within the last 2 years, our hard work has really been starting to show. Every year we’ve broken revenue and profit records.This year we’re seeing growth like we’ve never seen before, and we need the help from the right people.We have an impeccable reputation online. We’re all about reputation, and we love our customers.We say that it’s important that you love where you work, you make a great living, and you have time to live your life.The Master Plan:This is a multibillion dollar industry with no market leaders, and completely broken systems…We’re looking to grow to a $10M company within the DFW metroplex within the next 5 years with a focus on providing the BEST contractor experience a homeowner can have.This company (at $10M) will have about 5 production managers (1 lead), 5 sales reps (1 lead), 2 office managers, and ideally 1 or 2 team members who will step up to be the head(s) of the company.Currently, we are on pace for $2.1M (from $1.6M the year before, and $1M the year before that), and plan on doing over $3M for 2027 with most (if not all) sales for 2027 to be done by YOU.To help facilitate clean growth we are currently receiving and will continue to receive paid coaching from lauded mentors and programs. (ex. Coaching for project management, conflict resolution, sales training, marketing, integrating innovative technology, etc).Building a large company is one thing—but building a company that everyone it touches truly loves is another. You can fill blank space in your calendar with productive sales activity!You are PUNCTUALYou don’t mind driving… this is A LOT of drivingAnd, if you excel, there will be future growth opportunities to lead this department… And we will get the leadership training needed to help you get there.RESPONSIBILITIESFundamentally, this is our Estimator role…You generate business…..You represent the company and help potential customers buy fences with us!Some of the things you’ll do are:In-person Fence Estimates (most will be set for you)Initial calls to set your own estimates (when you have blank space in the calendar)Phone/virtual Estimates (for jobs far away or for people that need a triage call)Write up quotes and deliver to customers (usually at the estimate)Admin work (sales data, project handoffs to PM, etc.)Self generate leads (Rarely, but when all other sales activities are done)Help develop and improve our sales standard operating proceduresDid I mention… A LOT of drivingHelp answer incoming phone calls when needed (usually warm leads)Ensure customers are “Blown Away” with a great experience (we will help in building processes that ensure this)What’s Required - About YOUYou are NOT a “Baby Bird” - Blank space in the calendar just means opportunity for you to make follow-ups, work the CRM to generate more business, and do cold outreach if needed (realtors, hoa managers, posting in facebook groups, etc.)You are a GREAT COMMUNICATORYou are ORGANIZEDYou are DETAILED (customers really appreciate this)You are Autonomous - you can manage yourself and your own productivity - you don’t need to be micromanaged.You are great at building relationships, love taking care of people and creating happy customers!You love being a part of a teamYou hold yourself to high standards.We, of course, will provide you with role-specific training, processes, and procedures… but also never-ending personal development and career development opportunities to help you take your performance to the next level.This is how we can support you in your growth.Keep in mind, we are currently a smaller company, with huge growth happening, so there is a lot of room for building and perfecting our procedures, which you can be a part of building!We ARE looking for someone with MORE sales skills than we currently have. We are nowhere near perfect and are looking for someone that can take us to the NEXT LEVEL when it comes to sales.Compensation:Typical Payout on:$1.5M sold ~ $80,400 - $102,906 (~10 jobs/4wks)$2.5M sold ~ $137,004 - $187,506 ( ~16 jobs / 4wks)$3.5M sold ~ $193,404 - $272,106 (~23 jobs /4wks)Above payouts include the gas stipendAverage Job size: $12,700$31,200 Base Salary$400/mo gas stipend$25,600 in gross profit (about $54,468 in revenue, or about 4 to 5 jobs) must be sold every 4 week period before commissions or bonuses are considered9% Commission on gross profit after hurdle is met for every 4 week period3% performance bonus evaluated and paid every 12 week period - based on accurately sold jobs, produced profitability, sales/admin completion, and passing the profit hurdle every 4 weeks.Up to 6% efficiency bonus paid out every 12 weeks based on estimated marketing efficiency (the higher your close rate, average job size, true profit, and show rate is, in comparison to the company's marketing cost per set appointment, the higher this bonus will be.)All bonuses are also paid on gross profit, not revenue, and is reviewed and paid every 12 week period.
