Sub Assembly TechnicianThe Sub Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling intermediate product components that feed into the final assembly process. This role requires precision, consistency, and the ability to perform detailed work on specific sub-assemblies that become part of finished products.Duties & ResponsibilitiesSub Assembly TasksAssemble mechanical and electrical components according to instructionsPrepare sub-assemblies for final production stagesApply fasteners, connectors, and hardware using hand and power toolsQuality & TestingInspect sub-assembled units for correct fit, function, and finishPerform basic verification testing to confirm component performanceDocument inspection findings and escalate issuesSupport & CollaborationWork closely with final assembly technicians to ensure smooth workflowHelp maintain inventory of sub-assembly componentsParticipate in continuous improvement effortsWorkplace & SafetyKeep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standardsFollow all manufacturing procedures and quality protocolsQualifications & RequirementsPrevious assembly or manufacturing experience preferredComfortable using hand tools and basic power toolsGood hand-eye coordination and attention to detailStrong work ethic and ability to follow instructionsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and move between workstations
