Reporting to the Managing Criminal Defense Attorney, the successful candidate will undertake the following responsibilities: Job Overview:Manage caseload and client interaction.Collaborate with the Criminal Defense Team of Attorneys and legal assistants.Advise clients on legal rights and draw up relevant legal documents.Attend pretrial hearings on behalf of clients and strategize post-hearing.Manage court appearances, trials, drafting motions, interviewing witnesses, and conducting legal research.Analyze probable case outcomes using legal precedents.Manage workload effectively.Provide legal analysis to clients regarding potential case benefits.Gather additional evidence to support clients' cases or challenge prosecution charges.Prepare clients for depositions and determine essential case strategy goals.Experience in handling complex criminal cases at federal, state, and local levels.Fluency in Spanish preferred.Strong interpersonal skills. Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Nevada State Bar or eligibility for reciprocity.3+ years of experience in Criminal Defense Law. Certifications:Admission to the Nevada State Bar. Skills:Excellent legal research and analytical skills.Strong communication and negotiation abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Proficiency in Spanish (preferred).Interpersonal skills of the highest caliber.
