The Compliance Manager will oversee and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and internal policies. Responsibilities include monitoring regulatory requirements, performing internal audits, implementing compliance strategies, and maintaining accurate documentation. The role requires collaboration with various departments to create awareness and ensure adherence to compliance standards. The Compliance Manager will also be responsible for identifying risks and providing recommendations to address potential compliance challenges.Key ResponsibilitiesKnowledge of regulatory compliance, risk management, and industry best practicesMaintain up-to-date compliance for federal, state, and local regulations (SCDOT and FMSCA)Monitor and enforce compliance with FMSCA and SCDOT Conduct regular internal audits and inspections to ensure ongoing regulatory complianceOversee drug and alcohol testing program in compliance with DOT regulations Manage Driver Qualification filesStay up-to-date on regulatory changes within FMSCA and SCDOT and communicate updates to supervisor Qualifications Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaborativelyProficiency in maintaining accurate documentation and report preparationKnowledge of FMSCA and SCDOT regulationsProactive mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesBachelor’s degree in Business, Compliance, or a related field preferred
