Job DetailsDescriptionJudson Park in Des Moines, WA, a HumanGood community nationally rated as Best Independent Living and Best Memory Care of 2025-2026 by U.S News & World Report, is looking for a passionate Food Service Worker to join our team!The Food Service Worker performs any or all duties associated with setting up and working on a trayline, serving food to residents, washing dishes and/or pots and pans, bussing dishes, preparing food, such as salads, desserts, garnishes and/or maintaining cleanliness of food service and dining room areas. May be required to work varying shifts, including morning or evening shifts.Schedules AvailableRotating on-call schedule, either 6AM-2:30PM or 3PM-8PM (around 16-21 hours per week on average)*candidate availability on Thursday-Sunday required, open availability preferred*Pay range: $18.00-$22.12 per hour, depending on years of relevant experienceWork DutiesGreets residents and guests promptly as they arrive at their table;Informs guests of daily specials, makes recommendations;Completes bussing, runner, meal plater, utility and catering duties as needed or assigned;Refills beverages throughout the meal serviceKeeps alert to resident requests and special needs; assists residents with plates or trays;To Be Successful In The Role, You Would HavePrevious food handling experience requiredCurrent Food Handlers Certification, or willingness to obtain, requiredHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredExperience with senior populations preferredWhat’s in it for you?At HumanGood, we’re driven by purpose—reimagining senior living and creating communities where older adults can thrive.
