AI Engineer

HCLTech is seeking a highly skilled Python AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions that solve real-world business problems. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, high-performance applications using Python, machine learning frameworks, and Generative AI technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions using Python and modern AI frameworks.Build scalable and efficient machine learning models to address business challenges.Develop and optimize data pipelines for AI and machine learning applications.Implement NLP and Generative AI solutions utilizing state-of-the-art models and frameworks.Build LLM-powered applications using LangChain and LangGraph.Develop and integrate REST APIs and microservices for AI-driven applications.Work with structured and unstructured data from SQL and NoSQL databases.Collaborate with data scientists, architects, product teams, and business stakeholders to deliver AI solutions.Deploy and manage AI applications on AWS cloud platforms.Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize model performance in production environments.Follow best practices for software engineering, model deployment, security, and scalability.Required Qualifications6+ years of experience in Python development and AI/ML application development.Strong proficiency in Python programming.Hands-on experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts.Strong understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Generative AI technologies.Hands-on experience with LangChain and LangGraph.Experience developing and integrating APIs.Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.Experience deploying and managing solutions on AWS cloud platforms.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Preferred QualificationsExperience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.Knowledge of MLOps and model deployment best practices.Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.Familiarity with vector databases and AI orchestration frameworks.Experience integrating enterprise applications with AI-driven solutions.Experience working with: NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorchEducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.Equivalent practical experience in AI, Machine Learning, or Software Engineering will also be considered.HCL is an equal opportunity employer, committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees regardless of race, religion, sex, color, age, national origin, pregnancy, sexual orientation, physical disability or genetic information, military or veteran status, or any other protected classification, in accordance with federal, state, and/or local law.
