Cashier/Sales Associate

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Cashier/Sales associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions and promoting our products. Your ability to engage with customers and create a positive shopping experience is essential to our success. Duties Process customer transactions accurately using the POS system. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and proactively assisting them with their purchases. Utilize retail math skills to manage cash handling and ensure accurate financial transactions. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring a welcoming environment for customers. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner. Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when answering calls related to store inquiries or customer service. Duties to include Merchandising, Receiving, Stocking Inventory and Store Cleanliness. Skills Proficient in basic math skills for handling cash transactions. Experience with retail sales and understanding of retail math concepts. Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing. Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on creating positive interactions. Strong phone etiquette for professional communication over the phone.
