This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment.Perform MIG and Stick welding repairs on equipmentDiagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.Repair or replace defective parts and components.Conduct inspections to identify potential problems.Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.Collaborate with operation teams to minimize downtime.Assist with installation of new equipment as needed.Essential SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred).Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic or similar role.Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment.Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.Basic electrical knowledge is a plus.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and stand for extended periods.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with VFD systems and fabrication.Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs.Mechanically inclined with hand and power tools experience.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Why Work Here?Enjoy competitive salary, comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and holidays. The work area may be dirty, dusty, loud, and subject to temperature variations. Employees regularly work around large machinery, moving equipment, grease, oils, and industrial materials. The role operates on a 1st shift from 7am to 3:30pm and requires availability to work most Saturdays from 7am to 12pm, with overtime available.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Morrisville, PA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
