REHABILITATION AIDE

Job TitleUnder the direct supervision of licensed clinical staff, assists the therapists in routine tasks for therapeutic treatment of patients. Assists the department supervisor/manager in coordinating the overall department's function and maintenance.Compensation Pay Range: $16.67 - $22.43Clerical DutiesPerforms clerical duties to assist with daily operations of the department including scheduling, answering phones, calling patients, inventory, photocopying, filing, medicare and CPM tracking, data collection, mail and faxes, etcEnvironment and Department Maintenance/Infection ControlAssists in the maintenance of the department's overall physical environment and infection control including cleaning equipment, temperature monitoring, pool chemistry, linen supply, area inspectionsTreatmentProvides treatment to assigned patients as appropriate under the direct supervision of clinical staff.DocumentationCompletes all documentation of services per department standardsBillingEnters daily charges in a timely and accurate manner according to department standardsTechnology and LearningParticipates in continued learning and possess a willingness and ability to learn and utilize new technology and procedures that continue to develop in their role and throughout the organization. Embraces technological advances that allow us to communicate information effectively and efficiently based on role.Job RequirementsHigh School diploma/GED preferred. One (1) year healthcarerelated experience preferred. Previous rehabilitation experience desirable. Previous coursework, participation in work or volunteer experience in the area of health, fitness or athletics required.Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) (Including courses offered through SSH), INSTRUCTOR- Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) (Including courses offered through SSH)20 hours per week: Monday-Thursday 2pm-7pm
