This role will participate in the full software development life cycle, including writing code, debugging applications, configuring existing systems, and reviewing work with the team.The ideal candidate is comfortable working hands-on in .NET while collaborating with others to deliver high-quality, reliable applications that support the needs of the business.Work AuthorizationTo be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorshipYour ResponsibilitiesMaintain and optimize existing solutions to ensure high availability and performanceDesign and implement new, innovative solutions following best practices for performance and scalabilityMaintain and improve the functionality of existing software and productsCollaborate with Product Owners, QA and other developers as part of the Agile (SCRUM) processParticipate in code reviews and assist with regular analysisProduce and maintain documentation, system diagrams and data modelsSupport junior developers’ workYou Must HaveBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field7+ years of .NET web development experience using C#, with experience in .NET CoreExperience with Angular v12 or higher, jQuery, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other client-side librariesExperience with SQL Server 2017 and SQL best practicesExperience with web services using WCF, ASMX, SOAP, REST, and JSONExperience with third-party tool integrations, API development, and cloud middleware platformsExperience implementing and promoting best practices for Microsoft Copilot and AI-assisted development tools across teams, including guiding developers on efficient prompt design, token usage optimization, and responsible AI adoptionAbility to troubleshoot and resolve integration and migration issuesExcellent verbal, written, and listening skillsStrong interpersonal and leadership skills, including collaboration, facilitation, and negotiationDemonstrated organizational skills, follow-through, detail-orientation, and ability to prioritize and multi-task in a deadline-intensive environmentAbility to learn quickly, self-teach, take initiative, and adapt easily to changesFamiliarity with Agile methodologyWe Would Also PreferExperience with NopCommerce a plusExperience with Orchard CMS a plusExperience with Azure DevOps and Git a plusAbout Taylor CorporationOne of the largest print and communications firms in North America, Taylor’s family of companies provides a diverse set of products, services and technologies that address the toughest business challenges.
