Clinical Specialist
The Clinical Specialist is responsible for providing clinical support, education, and case coverage for a portfolio of advanced medical technologies used in hospital procedures. This role supports product adoption, promotes positive patient outcomes, and assists with the introduction of new products as the portfolio evolves.
Reporting to the Regional Clinical Manager, the Clinical Specialist works closely with sales partners and cross-functional teams to deliver training, technical expertise, and high-quality clinical support throughout the assigned territory.
This individual serves as a trusted resource for physicians, nurses, and hospital staff, demonstrating how the company’s technologies integrate into clinical workflows and support patient care.
Essential Duties
Provide case support and clinical coverage to ensure safe and effective product use.
Act as the primary clinical resource for troubleshooting, product education, and in-service training.
Share updates on product features, clinical information, and relevant industry developments.
Communicate clinical insights in a way that supports product understanding and adoption.
Meet with current and potential customers to understand clinical needs and provide appropriate solutions.
Partner with sales teams to exchange account updates, customer feedback, and competitive insights.
Coordinate and support local education programs and staff training sessions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key hospital personnel.
Monitor inventory needs within assigned accounts.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education
Required: Bachelor’s degree
Preferred: Clinical or technical training (RT, RCIS, Surgical Tech, RN, NP, First Assistant)
Experience
5+ years of relevant experience in the medical device field
Strong clinical background supporting hospital-based procedures
Experience working with interventional, surgical, or procedural teams preferred
Prior training or case support experience valued
Skills
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
Ability to clearly explain clinical and technical concepts
Professional handling of sensitive and confidential information
Analytical mindset with attention to detail
Strong understanding of hospital environments and clinician workflows
Excellent organization, time management, and emotional intelligence
Proficiency with MS Office
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners
