Lead Data Engineer

Job Description: Architect and lead the development of enterprise-scale data platforms Assist with scoping and planning integration projects Oversee the development of Azure SQL database objects Drive performance and reliability of real-time data processing Define and enforce standards for integration patterns Manage and mentor a small team of data engineers Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions Champion innovation and continuous improvement in data engineering Requirements: 6+ years of experience in cloud-native data engineering 3+ years with Databricks and Delta Lake in Azure 2+ years in a technical leadership or architecture role Proficient in SQL and designing performant queries Experience with multiple programming languages in data engineering (e.g., PySpark, Scala, R, Python) Strong understanding of cloud-native data architecture and Lakehouse design principles Experience with CI/CD, version control (Git), ideally Databricks Asset Bundles, and Infrastructure as Code Benefits: Health insurance Vision insurance Dental insurance Flexible spending accounts Health savings accounts Retirement savings plans Life insurance programs Disability insurance programs Paid time off Unpaid time away from work
