High-visibility role with team oversight and involvement in financials, reporting, and system improvements.What You’ll DoManage full-cycle property accounting, month-end close, and reportingReview accounts payable and accounts receivable activity, including rent rolls, tenant ledgers, and collectionsAnalyze variances between actual results and budget/forecast and provide explanations to managementOversee consolidations, GL, and variance analysisSupervise 2 staff (Jr. Accountant + Accounting Admin)Support Yardi transition (Breeze → Voyager) and streamline processesPartner with leadership on budgeting and portfolio performanceWhat We’re Looking For5+ years of accounting experience (real estate preferred)Residential property accounting experience a plus (rent-stabilized / affordable housing)Yardi experience (Voyager strongly preferred)Strong Excel + hands-on, detail-oriented approachWhy This RoleReports directly to VP of FinanceGrowing platform with expansion plansOpportunity to make an impact during system transitionCollaborative, team-oriented environmentFor an immediate response, please send your resume to jcanabal@ascendo.com
