Job Summary
Advanced Electrical Technologies (AET) - a Pacific Northern Environmental LLC Company, is seeking an Controls Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, team environment and has the ability to provide exceptional service to our company, clients, and employees.
Pacific Northern Environmental, LLC consists of four divisions include Advanced Electrical Technologies (AET), Cowlitz Clean Sweep (CCS), Pacific Northern Environmental Construction (PNEC), and WasteXpress Environmental (WXE). Together, we specialize in commercial and petroleum construction, industrial and commercial electrical, industrial cleaning, and hazardous waste disposal. PNE LLC has offices in multiple states.

The Controls Engineer is responsible for storing, managing, and tracking company documents by performing the following duties.
Education and Experience Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Driver’s License Required
4+ years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience working in Automation and Controls; including PLC and HMI Development, troubleshooting, and repair of Industrial Control and SCADA Systems.
Programming in Rockwell Automation Software, Emerson Software, Aveva, and/or Siemens. Design and drafting experience are desired.
Current Electrical license is preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Controls Engineer possessing the education and experience listed above performs the following:
PLC and HMI development for Industrial Control and SCADA Systems as well as design assistance for the engineering of Automation and Control Systems.
Troubleshoot and repair Automation and Control Systems.
Time and cost management for self-performed projects.
Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
Maintains punctual, regular, and predictable attendance, while maintaining flexibility.
Respectfully takes direction from manager.
Ability to accommodate periodic travel.
Operate company vehicles.
Other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
The candidate must possess and be adaptable to the following physical abilities and working conditions:
Move about the jobsite as needed.
Move work related equipment up to 50lbs.
Remain in a stationary position for long periods of time.
Operate various technological devices, including but not limited to a computer.
Occasionally ascend/descend ladders and/or stairs.
