Job Description Welder / Welder Helper / CarpenterLocation: Central Texas (San Marcos / Kyle / surrounding areas)Company: Justus Weld CoWe're looking for a motivated Welder / Welder Helper / Carpenter to join our growing team. We build custom residential and commercial projects including decks, pergolas, handrailing, structural steel, exterior carpentry, roof covers, and custom metal work. This is a hands-on position for someone who likes building, learning, and working outdoors.Responsibilities:Assist with and perform welding, fabrication, and installationBuild and install decks, pergolas, handrails, and exterior carpentryRead tape measures and follow drawings/plansOperate hand tools and power tools safelyLoad/unload materials and keep jobsites cleanWork efficiently with crew members to complete projectsTake pride in quality workmanship and attention to detailRequirements:Welding and/or carpentry experience preferred (but willing to train the right person)Must have reliable transportationAble to lift 50+ lbs and work in Texas heatPositive attitude and willingness to learnShow up on time and ready to workExperience with trailers, equipment, framing, fabrication, or construction is a plusSchedule:Monday–FridayTypical hours: 7:30 AM–4:30 PMOvertime opportunities availablePay:$20–$26/hour depending on experienceGrowth opportunities for motivated employeesIdeal Candidate:Someone who thinks ahead, works hard, solves problems, and takes ownership of their work—not someone who needs to be babysat.Apply today and send experience, photos of work (if available), and contact information.
