COOP Planner and Coordination Lead - Senior

Job DescriptionEverforth ECS is seeking a COOP Planner and Coordination Lead - Senior to work in Fairfax, Virginia. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.ResponsibilitiesLead the development and execution of enterprise COOP plans and disaster recovery strategies.Coordinate and conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to inform continuity planning.Establish and validate Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO).Integrate COOP planning with cybersecurity measures and change management processes.Facilitate continuity exercises and validate restoration procedures to ensure mission readiness.Provide comprehensive continuity readiness reports and advise government leadership on resilience strategies.Coordinate with infrastructure and hosting teams to align COOP strategies with operational needs.Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to enhance operational resilience.Required SkillsRequired QualificationsClearance: Secret Eligible requiredS. Citizenship requiredDoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 411-Technical Support Specialist at the Advanced proficiency levelCertifications (one or more required): SecurityX / CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, FITSP-O, GICSP, SSCPEducation: Masters or Ph.D in [Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering]Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in enterprise infrastructure and continuity planning within DoD or Federal environments.Proven track record in leading COOP and disaster recovery coordination across complex infrastructures.Experience in conducting risk assessments and coordinating continuity exercises.Ability to integrate COOP planning with cybersecurity and infrastructure sustainment strategies.Desired SkillsDesired QualificationsClearance: Active Secret preferredExperience with ARNG or similar DoD environments.Familiarity with RMF requirements and cybersecurity frameworks.Strong communication skills for advising senior government leadership.Experience in managing large-scale IT operations and infrastructure.ECS Federal LLC is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate or allow discrimination on the basis any characteristic protected by law.
