Job Title:Assistant Principal of AcademicsContract Length:225 DaysReports To:PrincipalSupervises:Primary Role:The ideal candidate will work with school leaders to build and maintain a positive and safe school climate and carry out the school's academic programs and perform teacher evaluations, attend and guide PLC meetings and work with data for overall student and staff growth. Further, the candidate will work closely with school counselors and school personnel to develop a strong school culture in which students grow to exemplify our core values.Required Experience:B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited institution in education and/or a related fieldMaster's Degree in the specified content area (reading, math, etc.), curriculum and instruction, or administration5+ years of experience in teaching or school administration1+ years of experience in MTSS planning and implementation1+ years of experience in successfully implementing a PBIS (or related) planPossession of a current North Carolina Professional Educator's LicenseSkills:Strategic LeadershipCreates conditions that result in strategically re-imaging the school's vision, mission,
