Job Description Job OverviewApollo Men's Health is seeking a reliable and compassionate Medical Assistant to support our clinical team and ensure a smooth patient experience. The ideal candidate will float between positions as needed, assisting providers, supporting front desk operations, and helping wherever the clinic needs coverage.Clinical DutiesPerform venipuncture and blood draws safely and accuratelyAdminister intramuscular (IM), subcutaneous (SubQ), and other injections as directed by providersPrepare patients for examinations and proceduresRecord vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and weightAssist providers during medical procedures and patient visitsCollect and prepare laboratory specimens for testingMaintain accurate patient documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)Patient CareEducate patients on treatments, medications, and follow-up instructionsEnsure patients feel comfortable and informed during their visitMaintain patient confidentiality and professionalismClinic SupportPrepare exam rooms and medical equipmentMaintain proper sanitation and infection control standardsStock and organize medical suppliesAssist with patient check-in/check-out if neededProvide support at the front desk when neededMaintain clean and organized clinical areasRequirements1–3 years of Medical Assistant experienceExperience with blood draws and injectionsStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced clinical environmentFamiliarity with EMR systems preferredPreferred QualificationsMedical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)Experience in men’s health, wellness clinics, or primary careExperience with IV therapy or hormone therapy injections (a plus)SkillsPhlebotomy / VenipunctureInjection administrationPatient care and communicationClinical documentationOrganization and time managementFlexibility to float between clinical and administrative roles
