Fisher Phillips, one of the oldest and largest labor and employment law firms representing management, has an opportunity for employment attorneys with over seven years of experience to join our team as Special Counsel in our Virtual Office. Responsibilities Handle administrative charges, attorney demand letters, and employment litigation for a variety of firm clients, including those with Employment Practices Liability Insurance (EPLI). Work directly on employment matters and supervise others, including developing case strategies, drafting and reviewing work product, conducting depositions, and representing clients at hearings, conferences, and trials. Collaborate with partners and a team of attorneys, with the support of paralegals and a shared secretarial pool within the Virtual Office. Focus on efficient, high-quality legal work in a remote setting, with potential involvement in class actions and PAGA cases, in addition to other labor and employment law matters. Travel may be required (mostly local). Operate in a full-cycle litigation practice, with no business development pressure. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school. More than seven years of experience in employment law and litigation. Active bar membership in good standing. Ability to work independently in a remote setting. Preferred: experience in a law firm and experience with EPLI matters; bar admission in California.
