Weaim to bring warmth and energy to everything we do.We have an exciting opportunity open for a Sr Systems Engineer to workhybrid in Fayetteville, Fort Smith, or Little Rock, AR .**Position SummaryThe Senior Systems Engineer - Networking is responsible for the design,installation, management, and maintenance of Summit\'s core Network aswell as core IT systems. Senior System Engineers have primary, secondaryand tertiary core competencies among the various system platforms. Thesesystem platforms include on-premises and cloud hyperconverged datacenters and virtualization with supporting networking infrastructure,expansive cloud data center footprint, storage, servers, and operationaltechnology required to run, monitor, and manage these services. TheSenior Systems Engineer - Networking will serve as a subject matterexpert and thought leader on critical infrastructure and softwarerequired to operate a secure, highly available, resilient, and elasticecosystem. Additionally, the Senior Systems Engineer - Networking servesas a mentor to other Systems Engineers and System Administrators, leadsprojects and initiatives, and partners with the Sr Manager, ITEngineering to assess technology needs.**PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**Core Systems and Network Management:**Architect, implement, and managecore systems both in physical and cloud locations to include:interconnectivity, installing and maintainingfirewalls/routers/switches/access points/servers (On-premisesphysical/On-premises virtual/cloud), configuring data access and singlesign-on solutions, server and desktop virtualization design andprovisioning, mail flow and unified messaging configuration, assessingand reporting operational status, and performing backups andrestorations.System Implementation:** Develop new system and applicationimplementation plans, documentation, custom scripts, and testingprocedures to ensure operational reliability. Train technical teammembers on new software and hardware developed and/or acquired.Operational Maintenance:** Ensure networks, workstations, operatingsystems, and software applications are operational. Proactivelydeciphering alerts and ensuring server hardware and software are patchedand updated.Cybersecurity and Privacy:** Develop procedures, implement tools, andfollow practices to maintain a high cybersecurity and privacy protectionposture for the company. Participate in all cybersecurity audits andlead remediation activities.Disaster Recovery:** Document requirements, build, and test effectiveIT business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
