Market Operations Analyst (International Remote Hire)Georgia; Singapore; Sri Lanka; UzbekistanMEMX is searching for a Market Operations Analyst to join our International Team. The primary focus of this role is customer service, being the first point of contact for exchange members, ensuring timely responses and ticket logging for all interactions. Other responsibilities include the monitoring and troubleshooting of the exchange. The team will be point in identifying and mitigating operational risks and attending to Members requests. Clear and constant communication across many different internal and external departments will be necessary.Shift time for this role will be 9:00pm ET to 6:00am EST. In your first few months you will be working the Sunday to Thursday shift. In the coming months, the team's goal is to move your shift to Saturday through Wednesday after you are fully ramped. This position will also be working U.S. holidays.Requirements3 to 5 years or more of trade desk or operations desk experience at a broker dealer or exchangeEffective and clear communicator that is able to handle complex issues with customers and internal groups in high pressure situationsExperience supporting FIX and SBE ProtocolsStrong data analytics capabilities with the ability to write basic queries in SQL, Groovy or PythonMust be confident working with real-time monitoring to identify issues and help solve problemsKnowledge of U.S. equity markets, market structure, and clearingWillingness to obtain necessary licenses as directed by ComplianceDesire to learn new things and be flexible in a quickly changing environmentAbility to perform multiple tasks simultaneously in a complex operational settingSelf-starter who can work independentlyWhat You'll DoAnswering phone calls from clientsResponding to emails and Jira ticketsVerifying and monitoring trading and clearing systemsInvestigating issues using internal and external toolsLiaising with other Market Operations team members and other internal/external groups to resolve issuesAd-hoc project work as requiredBenefitsAt MEMX you will have the ability to work with a talented team of professionals who bring diversity of thought and background.
