HVAC Apprentice

RCS Heating and Cooling is a growing and expanding HVAC company. We are looking for highly motivated people who want to learn the industry and are committed to long term employment. Job Duties: -Work safely following company policies. -Material Management - Receive, verify and load all equipment and materials needed for each job, Move materials from completed job to next site - layout materials accordingly -Provide assistance to lead installer on the job site. You will accompany an installer to a job where you will learn the process if installing an HVAC system. -Prepare duct work for installation including wrapping with insulation -Any other assigned duties as directed by management, must be flexible -Education and Experience:High School Diploma or Equivalent -EPA Certification a plus -0-2 years’ experience in HVAC -Honest and dependable -Mechanically inclined -Self-Motivated but able to take direction and be part of a team -Always present a Professional Company Image -Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record -Must be able to read and write in English -Able to acquire tools needed to perform job functions (tool list will be provided upon hire) -Physical Requirements: Ability to safely lift up to 50lbs -Able to tolerate temperatures hot and cold - we work year round -Able to work overtime, evenings or weekend hours if needed -Able to continually climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl Job Type: Full-time Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour Benefits: Paid time off Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Supplemental Pay: Bonus opportunities Commission pay Overtime pay People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Work Location: Multiple locations
