A&P Mechanic III

We are seeking experienced A&P Mechanics for a leading heavy commercial MRO facility in Sanford, Florida. This position supports scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections on narrow-body commercial aircraft in a fast-paced hangar environment. Candidates must have strong heavy maintenance experience and be comfortable working on large transport-category aircraft during C-checks, structural repairs, and return-to-service projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable operation with consistent work, long-term potential, and a strong team environment.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and inspections on commercial aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards Complete heavy maintenance tasks including C-checks, structural repairs, system removals/installations, and component replacements Read and interpret maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical data Conduct inspections of airframes, engines, landing gear, hydraulic systems, and related components Ensure all work is properly documented in compliance with FAA and customer requirements Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Collaborate with team members, leads, inspectors, and management to meet production schedules and aircraft delivery deadlines Follow all safety procedures and quality standards throughout the maintenance process RequirementsValid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required Minimum 5+ years of heavy commercial aircraft maintenance experience required Strong recent experience in heavy commercial MRO environments required Experience specifically on Boeing 757, Boeing 737, and Airbus A319 / A320 / A321 strongly preferred Experience with heavy checks, overnight maintenance, and structural repair work preferred Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and engineering documents Must have own basic tools required for the position Ability to work overtime, weekends, and flexible shifts as needed Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings and comply with airport/security requirements Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and qualityMiscellaneousAbout Our ClientOur client is a well-established aviation maintenance provider specializing in heavy commercial aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul services.
