You'll apply your civil engineering degree and hands-on experience to lead complex building projects, mentor junior engineers, collaborate across teams, and develop lasting client relationships.What You'll DoAs a Civil Engineering Project Manager, you will lead site development and civil engineering projects, including:Develop, coordinate, and direct the production of engineering project documentsPrepare fee proposals and contractsDevelop workload and scheduling projections for project staffOversee and perform site development design: grading, drainage, sewer, water, erosion control, and road design (including profile layouts)Perform or oversee construction support servicesReview submittals, prepare technical reports, perform routine conveyance calculations, and write observation reportsCollaborate with engineers and drafting teams to coordinate design details and construction document requirementsReview completed drafting and communicate with contractors during constructionEvaluate additional service requests, review billing, and coordinate permit responses and construction supportWhat You BringTo succeed as a Civil Engineering Project Manager, you should bring the following skills and experiences:5 years of civil engineering project management experienceStrong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience leading and mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with BIM DesignersDesire to build strong client relationships and provide excellent serviceEffective communication skills with clients, contractors, and project teamsCivil Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited universityPE license requiredWhy DCI EngineersAt DCI Engineers, you'll find more than just a job - you'll join a team that values collaboration, innovation, and a lifestyle you crave.
