Engineering Manager – Manufacturing & EstimationTrillium Professional is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our clients estimators, manufacturing engineers, planners, and tool crib operations. This is a full time opportunity working out of their Milpitas, CA facility. This role is critical in driving efficient manufacturing processes, accurate cost estimation, and overall profitability while supporting new product development and production excellence.About the RoleAs the Engineering Manager, you will oversee the full lifecycle of manufacturing planning—from cost estimation to process development—ensuring parts are produced efficiently, cost-effectively, and to the highest quality standards. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Production, and Quality teams while also engaging with customers and vendors.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and develop a team of estimators, engineers, planners, and tool crib staffOversee hiring, training, performance management, and compensation recommendationsEnsure accurate and timely cost estimates aligned with profitability goalsDefine and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and scalabilityDevelop and standardize routing, tooling, and production methodsSupport new product development and engineering-driven product realizationManage departmental budgets and authorize overtime as neededCollaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Production, and Quality teamsInterface with customers and vendors on technical and manufacturing requirementsDrive continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and manufacturing processesMaintain compliance with safety, quality, and operational standardsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering3–5+ years of engineering leadership experience in semiconductor or aerospace environmentsStrong knowledge of manufacturing processes, cost estimation, and process optimizationExperience with quality systems and continuous improvement methodologiesSolid understanding of business, finance, and operational principlesProven leadership, communication, and project management skillsValid driver’s license with acceptable driving recordPreferred QualificationsExperience with semiconductor OEM product design requirementsKnowledge of aerospace/satellite heater and cable productsBackground in materials or design engineeringExperience in finance, procurement, or marketing functionsWork Environment & RequirementsCombination of office and production floor environmentDomestic and international travel requiredAbility to lift up to 10 lbsStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesCompliance RequirementThis position requires access to export-controlled information under ITAR/EAR regulations.
