Research social media trends and engagement strategies within social media platforms.
Create and maintain a social media calendar.
Create engaging and relevant content to promote awareness of the UEC brand.
Review analytics and recommend improvements for future content.
Copywriting skills for engaging captions.
Photography/Videography Duties:
Attend campus events supported by UEC to capture the University Event Center team and events/setups.
Edit photos and videos for social media and the department webpage.
Graphic Design Duties
Create graphics for social media that adhere to the university brand guidelines.
Primary Function of Organizational Unit
The University Event Center is seeking a Social Media/Marketing Assistant to support the University Event Center social media account(s) and capture photography/videography of UEC events. This position is responsible for the UEC social media management and department photography under the supervision of the Student Center Marketing Coordinator.
Work Hours Times may vary, evening and weekends Is this position eligible for a remote or hybrid work arrangement, consistent with university and state policies.
