Electrician

Job Description About the Role:Installs, maintains, and repairs complex electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and control systems, while ensuring code compliance. Troubleshoot high-voltage equipment in factories (industrial) or manage complex wiring in offices (commercial).Specific Responsibilities :Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a journeyman electrician in industrial or commercial settingsCollaborate with the construction team to install power distribution systems, transformers, lighting, temporary construction power, and electrical equipment up to 480 VACMaintain and troubleshoot various electrical componentsInterpret and use complex electrical schematics and blueprints to plan, install, and improve electrical systemsConsult manuals and read project electrical drawings to perform and plan work scopesExecute a wide variety of electrical tasks and provide timely feedbackExhibit a positive attitude and strong work ethicRequire d Qualifications :Proficiency in sizing conductors and conduits and using the NEC Code BookExperience handling electrical systems from low to high voltage up to 480 VAC; medium voltage experience is a plusAbility to interpret electrical prints and schematicsCapability to test and commission work according to company procedures and building department codesStrong knowledge of job site safety, with the ability to evaluate job hazards and complete pre-work task planning, focusing on electrical hazards and safety proceduresWillingness to travel to other projects as neededAbility to work at heights up to 80 ftReliable transportation and ability to report to the jobsite on time dailyValid driver's license, Picture ID, or PassportAbility to work in secure or badge access environmentsFull PPE including hard hat, safety vest, Safety Toe Work Boot, gloves, and safety glassesTrade specific tools requiredAbility to pass a background check and drug screeningAbility to work in a physically demanding environmentAbility to follow safety protocols and OSHA guidelinesStrong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to take directionAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFlexibility to work overtime, weekends, or extended shifts as neededCompany DescriptionSOLID Personnel is a niche specific skilled trades recruiting & staffing firm founded in 2013.
