W2 ONLY!!ONSITE IN SAN FRANCISCO OR SAN RAMON 3 DAYS A WEEK!Technical Project Manager – Cloud Operations, Observability & Disaster RecoveryWe are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and coordinate enterprise technology initiatives across Cloud Operations, AIOps, Monitoring & Observability, and Disaster Recovery programs. This role is responsible for driving structured delivery, governance, operational alignment, and cross-functional execution across complex infrastructure and technology operations portfolios.The ideal candidate brings strong enterprise IT program management experience, technical fluency across infrastructure and cloud operations, and the ability to manage highly visible initiatives involving engineering, operations, security, vendors, and executive stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesPortfolio & Program DeliveryLead and coordinate delivery across Cloud Operations, AIOps, Monitoring & Observability, and Disaster Recovery initiativesMaintain consolidated portfolio visibility across multiple programs, workstreams, and operational dependenciesDrive execution consistency, milestone tracking, and operational alignment across enterprise initiativesProject Planning & GovernanceDefine project scope, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and governance frameworksDevelop structured delivery plans in partnership with technical and operational leadershipEnsure alignment with enterprise PMO standards, change management, and operational governance practicesCross-Functional CoordinationCoordinate across Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, ITSM, Procurement, Database Support, and vendor teamsManage dependencies, escalations, and delivery blockers across multiple stakeholders and operational groupsPartner closely with command center, operations, and infrastructure teams to ensure readiness and execution alignmentRisk, Issue & Stakeholder ManagementProactively manage project risks, issues, and mitigation plans across programsPrepare executive-level reporting, dashboards, status summaries, and operational updatesTranslate technical delivery progress into clear business impact and operational visibilityDisaster Recovery & Resilience ProgramsCoordinate enterprise disaster recovery planning, testing, audits, and remediation activitiesSupport recovery strategy development, tabletop exercises, and full failover execution planningEnsure recovery objectives (RTO/RPO) are documented, tested, and aligned across critical systems and infrastructureCloud & Observability Program SupportSupport cloud migration initiatives, AIOps enablement, observability platform adoption, and tooling integrationsCoordinate monitoring and observability initiatives including alerting, dashboards, tooling standardization, and MSP transitionsTrack vendor deliverables, SLAs, onboarding activities, and platform implementation milestonesITSM & Operational AlignmentEnsure alignment with ITIL-based service management, release management, and service transition processesCoordinate infrastructure work across data centers, remote office environments, facilities technology, and operational support teamsPartner with database support teams on maintenance windows, capacity planning, and environment readiness activitiesMetrics & Continuous ImprovementMaintain KPIs, reporting dashboards, and operational metrics across programsIdentify trends, process gaps, and opportunities for operational improvementRecommend delivery optimization strategies and governance enhancementsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience7+ years of experience in technical project or program management within enterprise IT environmentsExperience managing initiatives across cloud operations, infrastructure, observability, platform engineering, or disaster recovery domainsFamiliarity with ITIL-aligned service management and operational governance frameworksExperience coordinating vendor, MSP, and enterprise supplier engagementsExperience supporting Azure and/or GCP cloud environmentsPMP, SAFe, or equivalent certification preferredRequired SkillsEnterprise project and portfolio managementTechnical fluency across cloud, infrastructure, and operations environmentsRisk, issue, and dependency managementExecutive stakeholder communication and reportingDashboarding, governance reporting, and operational documentationVendor and supplier coordinationStructured decision-making within large-scale enterprise environmentsStrong cross-functional collaboration and operational leadership
