Learn more at nxtpointlogistics.com.SummaryThis position is responsible for accurate receiving, storing, shipping, repackaging, and palletizing of product to meet company standards of sanitation, safety, security and productivity.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesPick, pack, assemble, and prepare orders (including less-than-case quantities and light mechanical/electrical assembly using hand tools)Repack, re-box, label, sort, wrap, stencil, tag, and mark products per customer or shipment requirementsInspect inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy, damage, infestation, and date codes; report shortages, damages, and mis-shipmentsCount, verify, and compare product quantities against manifests and ordersLoad, unload, move, stack, and store merchandise safely and efficiently using material handling equipmentTransport orders to shipping areas, trailers, containers, or delivery platformsSign for inbound shipments and obtain outbound signatures as requiredRepair damaged goods, recoup product, and repair pallets as neededAssist with physical inventories, cycle counts, and ensure proper stock rotationOperate shrink-wrap equipment and maintain forklift power (battery/gas)Remove trash from trailers, containers, dock bays, and maintain a clean, organized work areaSupport record storage activitiesQualificatonsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted. The employee must be able to carry and climb a ladder. Must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods (at least 2 hours straight, four times in an 8-hour day) Must be able to twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level and crouch on a frequent basis.
