Substitute Noon Monitors

Applicants must be available on an as needed basis to act as fill-ins, Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 9 AM and 10:30 a.m. -1:30 p.m. for lunch and recess coverage during the school year. There are no benefits with this position.This is a non-inclusive listing of the duties and responsibilities of a substitute filling in for this position: 1. Supervise students at playtime and lunchtime, maintaining a harmonious atmosphere by fostering good habits and manners.2. Assist cafeteria workers with taking lunch charges and cleaning up, and supervising lunch dismissal and lunchroom trash disposal.3. Supervise group activities when appropriate.4. Direct movement of groups to and from the playground and to buses when appropriate.
