TITLE: DriverREPORTS TO: Logistics ManagerSTATUS: Full Time/Hourly Non-Exempt (40 hrs./week; additional hours as needed to support organization and individual goals)LOCATION: Bad Axe, MIJob Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalentMotor coordination, manual and finger dexterityClass A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)DOT Medical Examiner’s CertificateIndustrial Truck LicenseKnowledge of Electronic Log SystemsJob Preferences:Defensive Driving Training/CourseJob Summary:To operate over-the-road company vehicles finished goods and correspondence to customers.Essential Job Functions:Loads or assists in loading a truck with materials. Unloads or assists in unloading truck by using forklift or by hand.Operates company vehicles, according to state laws. Transports load over required route to proper destination, observing all traffic laws and safety regulations.Ensuring doc-locks or rear wheels are chocked off truck before unloading takes place. Removes chocks before driving away from shipping dock.Obtains shipping bills of lading and necessary signatures and returns completed paperwork to shipping office. Maintains any related records required.Removes empty skids from truck and carries to designated storage area.Performs miscellaneous service duties such as checking on daily basis: oil, water, gasoline, and air in tires.Follows all TS &/or IATF16949, ISO 14001 & ISO 9001 policies and procedures.Questions: Please contact Brianne Pfaff via email bpfaff@geminigroup.net or at (989) 269-9731 extension 6195 with any questions.
