Arborist

The Arborist will be responsible for pruning, and removing trees while ensuring the safety of themselves, their team, and the public. Our company is big on growth opportunities to give you the chance to advance. *Responsibilities:* * Tree Pruning and Trimming: * Prune trees for health, appearance, and safety using hand and power tools. * Remove dead or diseased branches to improve tree health and aesthetics. * Tree Removal: * Safely and efficiently remove trees as directed, ensuring minimal damage to the surrounding area. * Utilize rigging techniques to safely lower branches and tree sections to the ground. * Operate chainsaws, chippers, and other equipment as needed for tree removal. * Safety and Maintenance: * Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries ANSI standards. * Perform routine maintenance on equipment. * Conduct pre-job assessments to identify potential hazards. * Customer Service: * Communicate effectively with clients and to understand their needs and provide recommendations for tree care. * Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service and addressing any concerns promptly. * Team Collaboration: * Work collaboratively with other crew members to complete jobs efficiently. * Assist ground crew with cleanup and disposal of debris. *Qualifications:* * Experience: * Minimum of 2 years of experience as a professional arborist. * Proficiency in tree cutting techniques, rigging, and the use of arbor equipment. * Skills and Abilities: * Strong knowledge of tree species, diseases, and pruning standards. * Excellent physical fitness and stamina. * Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Certifications: * ISA (International Society of Arboriculture) Certified Arborist or Tree Worker certification is preferred but not mandatory. * Commercial Spray license....Helpful but not mandatory * First Aid and CPR certification is a plus. * Licenses: * Valid drivers license with a clean driving record. * Commercial Drivers License (CDL) is an advantage but not required. *Working Conditions:* * Physically demanding role requiring heavy lifting, and working in various weather conditions. * Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including helmets, gloves, and safety harnesses. * Regular exposure to noise, dust, and potentially hazardous equipment. *Benefits:* * Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications. * Opportunities for professional development Call Bo at 2186005330 or 7122219713 Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 60 per week Benefits: * Opportunities for advancement * Safety equipment provided Work Location: In person by Jobble
