Join Flowserve at our Global Headquarters in Irving, TX!Role Summary:We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Accountant to be a key member of our Corporate Divisional Accounting team. Reporting directly to the Manager, Financial Reporting, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial information that drives strategic decision-making across the organization.In this dynamic role, you will work across critical U.S. GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) accounting areas — including lease accounting, financial statement preparation and analysis, consolidations, account reconciliations, and journal entries — while also tackling a variety of ad-hoc projects. Your expertise will help ensure the integrity of our reporting processes, from month-end close through audits, in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.This is an opportunity to make a real impact at a global industry leader, gain exposure to complex accounting topics, and work in a supportive team that values precision, problem-solving, and professional growth.Responsibilities:Review and analyze lease abstracts, agreements and accounting in centralized global lease accounting function.Review and analyze joint venture accounting entries and prepare rollforwards of investments and non-controlling interest accounts.Perform other day-to-day accounting, month end closing processes, reporting and account reconciliations under US-GAAP as assigned.Prepare and review financial and non-financial information for Senior Management.Support internal and external audits and maintain effective internal controls.Participate in building a culture of global operational excellence and continuous process improvement.Other duties as assignedRequirements:Able to work onsite at global headquarters in Irving TXBS or BA Degree in AccountingStrong financial background with 5 or more years of relevant experiencePossess a strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX (Sarbanes–Oxley) controls, including lease accounting (ASC 842) and joint venture accounting (ASC 323) experienceAbility to work with minimal direction, possess problem-solving skills, and self-motivated.Excellent analytical abilities, communication and strong interpersonal skillsAbility to interact with associates and leaders throughout the organizationExcellent PC skills including Microsoft Office ProductsAbility to work extended, non-traditional hours as needed during peak periods such as quarter-end reporting and year-end reportingPreferred:Licensed CPA.Public Accounting experience a plusExperience with large, publicly-traded, multi-national companySAP GL and SAP BPC preferredBPC, Power BI or similar consolidation and reporting tools preferredLease Accelerator or other lease accounting software preferredBlackline experience preferredPower AppsBenefits Starting from Day 1:Flowserve offers competitive pay, annual bonuses, medical benefits on day 1, generous paid vacation time, paid holidays, 401(k) and many other excellent benefits!Req ID : R-18529Job Family Group : Finance & AccountingJob Family : FA AccountingEOE including Disability/Protected Veterans.
