The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations related to vehicle sales, including securing financing options, ensuring legal compliance, and maintaining relationships with lenders. This position plays a key role in maximizing dealership profitability while delivering a high level of customer satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesPresent financing options to customers and secure appropriate financing and leasing arrangementsEstablish and maintain strong working relationships with lenders and financial institutionsReview credit applications and assess customer creditworthinessEnsure all documentation related to sales and finance is accurate, complete, and complies with local, state, and federal regulationsStructure deals for maximum profitability while adhering to lender guidelinesOffer and sell additional products such as extended warranties, insurance, and protection packagesCollaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth transition from sales to finance processMonitor and maintain accurate records of all finance deals and contractsStay current with financial and automotive industry trends, as well as regulatory changes RequirementsThis position requires a high level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail. Candidates must have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a strong understanding of automotive finance procedures and compliance standards.Education and/or ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field preferredMinimum of two years of experience in automotive finance or a related financial services roleProven track record of meeting or exceeding financial performance goalsValid Operator Driver's License (must be insurable)
