Competitive base salary $140,000–$240,000 DOE + performance-based bonus opportunities Hybrid work model offering schedule flexibility and work-life balance Opportunity to gain valuable courtroom and negotiation experience in a specialized defense practice Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans Supportive team culture with direct partner mentorship and professional development Located in desirable Brea, CA with easy access to Southern California amenities Job Details Job Details / Responsibilities: Represent employers and insurance carriers in workers' compensation claims and litigation before the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board Handle all phases of case management, including discovery, depositions, motions, hearings, and trials Negotiate settlements and resolve liens effectively to achieve favorable outcomes for clients Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, briefs, and correspondence Analyze claims involving serious and willful allegations, subrogation, and related employment issues Collaborate with adjusters, clients, and internal team members to develop defense strategies Maintain accurate case files and provide regular status updates Qualifications: Active member in good standing of the California State Bar At least 1 year of experience practicing workers' compensation law (defense preferred) Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Strong analytical, research, and writing skills Excellent communication and negotiation abilities Interested in hearing more?
