Street Interviewer (Contract, Entry-Level Content Role)
About WillloWilllo is an online will-building platform that gives people the tools to organize their assets, pick beneficiaries, and put a real plan in place without paying a lawyer thousands of dollars. We're building a category that almost nobody talks about openly, and that's exactly the opportunity.About the gigWe're hiring street interviewers and videographers to film man-on-the-street style interviews for Willlo's TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube channels. The format is simple and the content is genuinely fascinating: we ask strangers if they have a will, who they'd leave their stuff to, and why. The answers range from heartwarming to hilarious to jaw-dropping, and nothing like it exists on TikTok right now. This is a contract position, but it's also the entry point to something bigger. Willlo is part of a portfolio of brands, and we plan to scale top performers into broader content manager roles across other companies we operate. If you crush it here, there's a real path forward. You'll work in pairs. One person is on camera asking questions, the other films on iPhone. You can apply solo and we'll help match you, or apply as a duo with a friend you already want to work with. What you'll doHit busy public spots in the Twin Cities (Nicollet Mall, U of M campus, North Loop, farmers markets, festivals, etc.) and interview willing strangers using the question outline we provide. Get the on-camera verbal consent, ask the questions, capture clean footage in portrait orientation, and submit the clips to us. We handle editing and posting. What we provideA wireless lavalier microphone, the interview outline with example questions and follow-ups, a quick training call to get you up to speed, and ongoing coaching on what's working as clips start to perform. What you bringAn iPhone (newer model preferred for video quality), a friend or partner to film with, comfort approaching strangers, and good energy on camera. Prior content creation experience is a plus but not required. We care more about personality than polish.PayBase: $5 per successful interview, per person. A successful interview is at least 30 seconds of usable footage, captured on-camera verbal consent, and answers to the core questions. Both the interviewer and the videographer get paid the same per video.Viral bonuses, per person, paid when a clip you filmed hits these view counts on any single platform:50,000 views: $25100,000 views: $50250,000 views: $100500,000 views: $2501,000,000+ views: $500Growth pathThis is a contract role, but we're building a bench. Strong performers (people who consistently produce great footage, develop a feel for what goes viral, and bring ideas to the table) will be first in line for paid content manager opportunities across the brands we operate. We'd rather promote from this team than hire from outside.Who this is forAspiring creators, journalism and film students, comedy people, anyone who's already doing or wants to do man-on-the-street content. If you've ever watched a Cut or Yeah Mad video and thought "I could do that," this is your shot to do it, get paid, and build a real portfolio that opens doors. How to applySend us a short video (60 seconds, filmed on your phone) introducing yourself and telling us why you'd be good at this. Bonus points if you film it in the style of a street interview intro. Apply through the LinkedIn application.
