Security Officer

Reports to: Branch Manager or Account Manager Job Summary:This role involves direct supervision by the Account Manager or Branch Manager and focuses on ensuring the safety and security of assets, personnel, customers, and visitors to designated locations. Key Responsibilities:Protect the interests of clients by maintaining a safe environment for employees and visitors. Monitor and report signs of crime or disorder, conducting investigations of disturbances when necessary. Prepare daily reports according to training and submit them to the appropriate contacts. Conduct regular patrols as outlined in post orders. Control access to the property and monitor compliance with post orders. Notify authorities in emergencies as specified in post orders. Document violations of company policy and local or federal laws in accordance with the Employee Handbook. Additional Responsibilities:Be prepared for long hours of standing. Willingness to work extended hours as needed. Additional tasks may be assigned by the client or as required by the specific post. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Ability to maintain a safe environment for all stakeholders. Skill in dealing tactfully and effectively with the public. Minimum Requirements:High School Graduate or GED. Must be 21 years of age. Clean criminal background. Must obtain state-required licensing. Physical ability to walk and stand for extended periods. Must be physically fit, capable of lifting, pushing, or carrying up to 50 lbs. Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
