Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Fort Madison, IA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,326 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/15/2026 About the Position Job Title: RN Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:00 PM - 06:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification Must-Have: Previous Epic Experience Description: The traveler will be responsible for self-studying telemetry strips upon acceptance. A basic dysrhythmia test will be administered during the first week of the assignment. This test must be passed to work on the telemetry/med surg unit. Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members. Effectively interacts with patients, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. Provides high-quality care to patient populations including geriatric, medical/surgical, adult, and telemetry. Floating is a requirement in non-critical care inpatient units, including the emergency department if there are boarded patients. Telemetry ratios are currently 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights. EMR is Epic. The traveler will be responsible for self-studying telemetry strips upon acceptance. A basic dysrhythmia test will be given during the first week of assignment.
