This internship puts you on the shop floornot behind a desk. You'll support production while learning fabrication, assembly, and finishing processes alongside experienced team members to learn how raw materials become finished products.Key Responsibilities:Support laser cutting, forming, and fabrication operationsAssist with assembly, hardware insertion, and fasteningFinishing techniques (grinding, sanding, polishing)Blueprint reading and quality inspection basicsHelp move and organize materials and partsConduct basic visual inspections for qualityAssist with packaging and production flowRequirements:Pursuing manufacturing, engineering, or trade training (preferred)Interest in manufacturing or fabricationBasic mechanical aptitude + willingness to learnStrong attention to detail and reliabilityWhy Join Us:Hands-on training in sheet metal fabricationExposure to real production workOpportunity to grow into full-time rolesWork Authorization Wording Must meet ITAR U.S. Person requirements Prototek maintains International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliant operations in United States based facilities.
